Site Location2060 Detwiler Road was a 132,000 +/- square foot building that operated as the offices and manufacturing facility for Nice Ball Bearings, a wholly owned subsidiary of RBC, Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of ball bearings. RBC Nice ceased operations at the facility in May 2006 as a result of a steady decline in business. The facility has been converted to a Class A office building. The building is located on approximately 16 acres on the south side of Detwiler Road, Harleysville, Towamencin Township, Montgomery County, PA. The site is located directly to the east of (and is visible from) the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike Lansdale Interchange.
Site ImprovementsThe facility includes a 132,000 square foot single story main building. All systems are new and state of the art in terms of operating effectiveness and energy efficiency. The building has seven main entrances and parking for 5 cars/per 1000 sf of usable space. The property has been beautifully landscaped. All new environmentally sensitive HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems have been installed inside a brand new facility which will have a brand new energy efficient contemporary facade. The property has ceiling heights of 16' - 18' which allow for exceptionally high ceilings in the finished space. State of the art safety and communication systems and capabilities have also be installed.
Tenant ImprovementsThe developers will provide delivery of the custom designed space on a turn-key basis, based on a mutually acceptable space plan to be provided by the developers architect. |
